Hi TrineIt’s hard to believe but I was just about to e-mail Ben to thank him for his great service at my hearing check up yesterday.My first hearing aid was provided by a consultant in America, I was 52 years old, he told me most people leave having aids until they are a lot older losing their patience with them and never wearing them, what sound advice, l’ve now been wearing aids for 23years.I’ve had hearing aids from several suppliers including the NHS always having problems but always persevering. 2years ago l visited Ben at one of his roaming clinics in Cowbridge where Im discussed my problems. I gave him quite a hard time,he was very patient and explained the new technology now available which led me to have new aids.The past two years have given me the best trouble free hearing l’ve had in 23years, what a relief, I also have to thank my wife as she insisted on that first visit to Ben.

I have had trouble with my hearing for 20years. I tried other manufacturers without any success so decided to try Hearing Wales. What a good job I did because the whole experience was excellent. The lady audiologist whose name was Danielle came to my house and tested my ear and recommended the Phonak aid. Danielle was very efficient and explained everything very clearly. I have had the aid for 6 months now and it is like living in a new world because I now hear things I never heard before like birds singing, my grandchildren talking and laughing, and most importantly my wife doesn’t have to repeat everything when we have a conversation. I recommend hearing Wales to anyone with hearing problems.
Mr Griffin is wearing a single Phonak Audeo V50 hearing aid, which came with free aftercare and a 5 year hearing aid warranty.

After denying that I needed hearing aids for many months I responded to an offer to have a test with a National Hearing Aid Company and was convinced that I should purchase the hearing aids from them at a cost of £3,300. I paid a deposit.
I was not happy with the cost so I contacted HEARING WALES, had another test and was quoted a price of £1,400. I was able to get my deposit returned and purchased the same make and model.
This was in 2011, and I have had superb service from Ben Davies and all the staff ever since.
