Its been a long road, but our new journey as part of the bustling independent Mumbles business community starts here – We open the doors to our beautiful fourth Hearing Clinic this Monday!
Weeks and months of flat out work has paid off and Hearing Wales will be welcoming our first customers on our home patch of Mumbles from this Monday.
This is Mumbles’ only bespoke hearing centre, and perhaps not before time given ‘Mumbles’ quirky name!
It’s our fourth Hearing Wales clinic to open in Wales, with Narberth and Cardiff clinics opening in recent years, and we now employ 19 people across the region.
Our Directors Ben and Trine Davies are behind Hearing Wales and they live close to their new Hearing Centre.
Ben said:
“We are so excited to be able to bring Hearing Wales home to Mumbles. Its been an extremely busy time for us since we bought Number 99. We had teams of brilliant builders in who gutted and totally refurbished the whole place. We’ve project-managed this ourselves, whilst continuing to manage all our other branches.
The pair’s almost superhuman workload is matched by a home life that not only revolves around three children under 10, but the Davies’s run a farm out on the Gower.
Trine said:
“Our plan with Hearing Wales when we launched the business almost ten years ago was to bring together our family business values of fair pricing and personalised customer-centred care along with clinical professionalism and the best audiological equipment in the area.
“We brought Ben’s experience as an Audiologist and my medical industry background together and combined it with our own passion for helping people and making a difference to their lives.”
She added that local people were already making them feel welcome.
“Passers-by have been popping their heads in to say hello as the refurbishment has continued, its been lovely. We will be holding an open evening for local businesses soon and it will be great to meet everyone.”
