Phonak Virto B Titanium
The Phonak Virto B-Titanium is the smallest ever Phonak custom hearing aid. It is the first custom ‘in the ear’ hearing aid offered from the new Phonak Belong range, and will be available in the top two technology levels, the B70 and the B90. (We anticpate the standard Virto B custom hearing aids to be available in the next few months) It is made using medical grade titanium, which enables the manufacturer to make the aids smaller, yet more powerful. Usually the ‘invisible in canal’ or IIC’s are made from acyrlic, which can leave them vulnerable to damage. The titanium used is 15x stronger than acyrlic, which means Phonak were able to build shells as thin as 0.2mm, 50% thinner than before. The new Belong platform includes features AutoSense OS™, which adapts automatically to every sound environment, so there is no need to manually adjust the hearing aids.

Unitron Moxi Now
The Moxi Now is the worlds smallest, wireless ‘reciever in canal’ (RIC) hearing aid. Unitron have focused in on the design of their new hearing aids, making them very cosmetically appealing. Available in a choice of colours to blend with skin and hair, they ar virtually impossible to see when being worn. Despite the small size, Unitron have still managed to include all the features available in their larger RIC models, so the size doesnt compromise the quality of sound.

Unitron Moxi R
Another world first from Unitron, this time in the form of the smallest rechargable hearing aid on the market. Statistics show that 70% of hearing aid users want rechargable hearing aids, but before the recent launch of the Phonak Belong-R and the new Unitron Moxi-R the rechargable options were limited. The Moxi-R is designed to provide 24 hours of use from 90 minutes of charging – a simple and eco friendly solution for hearing aid wearers.
The new Moxi R will be launched on a new technology platform called Tempus, which supercedes the North platform launched in 2015 . The Tempus platform has SoundCore technology, which uses four fetures that make understanding a listening enviroment easier fo users. When compared to North platform, Tempus is 50% more accurate, and 36% faster.
