We received a phone call in our Uplands Branch in Swansea earlier this morning from a lady who was needing help for her sister who had just moved into the area from Bristol.
The lady’s sister had received Siemens hearing aids from Specsavers in Bristol a couple of weeks ago, but was having difficulties with them not working properly. They thought they needed cleaning but had not idea how to go about it. They contacted Specsavers in Swansea and were originally given an appointment, however they called them back to say that as the hearing aids were not bought from there, they were unable to help.
Both ladies were very anxious, and didn’t know where to go.
Hearing Wales arranged for them to come to their nearest branch in Swansea straight away, so they were seen this afternoon by one of our Audiologists who serviced their hearing aid and got it working again!!
